A Family History

The Bourdy family has been cultivating vines for sixteen generations. This long lineage of winemakers has preserved and passed down an incredible know-how throughout centuries of work. Each family member has contributed their own part to the building of this legacy.

Yesterday

The roots of time

Since 1579, Domaine Bourdy has been rooted in the Jura land like a centuries-old vine. From generation to generation, the traditions are passed down, the familiar gestures are repeated, and the wine becomes a vessel of memory. Each vintage carries the echoes of  centuries of history, carried by the stones of the cellars and the patience of those who craft it.

Today

The soul of the terroir

Today, the Domaine follows the natural rhythm of the seasons and the stars. In biodynamics, the vines breathe, listen, and harmonize with nature. Guided by Laura, ancient grape varieties explore their truths through lively, sincere wines, crafted slowly and with humility. Jura finds its reflection in them– raw, luminous, and genuine.
