Côtes du Jura

Douce Jeanne
Terroir : The region's deep grey clays and ancient marls from the Lias and Triassic periods keep the soil cool, thanks to abundant rainfall, enhancing the naturally high acidity in grapes. This geological and soil composition supports healthy vine growth, producing wines with bright acidity, rich flavors, and enhanced aromatic complexity.

Grapes : Chardonnay

Certification(s) : Organic and Demeter

Vinification: This orange wine is made by 15-day maceration of whole Chardonnay clusters with daily pressing and compaction. Fermented naturally in tanks, it ages for a year in old barrels without racking or sulfites, preserving its tannic structure and aromatic complexity through a natural process that highlights terroir purity.

Aging : Aging in steel tank 1 year

Alcohol content : 12%

Sulfites : < 20 mg/l

Tasting notes: Aged in a traditional Vin Jaune cellar, this Chardonnay develops pronounced Jura-style aromas of Savagnin. Powerful and complex, it maintains a silky texture with a deep, broad palate and a long finish of curry and dried fruits, delivering an elegant, rich, and persistent experience.
